Residential BioWIN2 Pellet Boiler Installed Cost
Caluwe offers two residential pellet boiler options for whole-home hydronic heating. These installed cost ranges are for planning and are shown before any applicable rebates.
BioWIN2 Lite — $15,000–$18,000 installed
The BioWIN2 Lite uses an integrated hopper filled with bagged wood pellets. A typical installation costs $15,000–$18,000.
BioWIN2T Touch — $28,000–$36,000 installed
The BioWIN2T Touch can be configured with bulk pellet storage and automatic feeding. A typical installation costs $28,000–$36,000.
Boiler size, the existing heating system, pellet storage, venting, plumbing, electrical work, and site conditions determine the final project price. We provide a specific quote after reviewing the home.
Installation area
We can accommodate residential installations in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, New York, and Pennsylvania. Installation and ongoing service arrangements are reviewed for each project.
Maine and Vermont rebates
Maine: Eligible biomass boiler projects may receive a rebate of one-third of project costs, up to $6,000, through Efficiency Maine. Equipment and installer requirements apply.
Vermont: A $6,000 rebate may be available for a qualifying central wood pellet boiler through Efficiency Vermont. The program requires at least one ton of pellet storage, automatic fuel feed, a qualifying product, and an approved contractor. The bag-fed Lite configuration does not meet the storage and automatic feed requirements. We verify eligibility for a proposed Touch installation before including a rebate in the estimate.
Rebate funding and rules can change. We confirm eligibility for the address, equipment, and installer before preparing a final proposal.
